Giovanni focused was on religious subjects,rather then the boost of popular classical subject matter. Andrea Mantegna was a influence in his work, the guy that becomes his brother-in-law.His most important  contribution to art lay in his experimentation with the use of color with the atmosphere in oil painting his style of painting is ''sensuous and colouristic his style''. He work on a historical painting for the Doges palace 1479 until his death

   I like this because of how he painted it. You can see Jesus dead emotion. You can see the angels on the Side of him all worry and wanting him to  wake up. For this guy to be in the 1400's to have a great seeing of such of a visual. the body dead color . It's like a pale but some life spots at certain area. He gives you the idea of what was it like.
