Sandro Botticeli was born in Florence in 1445, the fourth child of tanner Alesssandro di Mariano Filipepi.
Botticelli went to work in the studio of Antonio del Pollaiolo, goldsmith, painter, and a sculptor whom he derived the elegant style that was to become a hallmark of his work. When 1470 came along Sandro had his own workshop.Five years later, he painted the porrait of Giuliano de 'Medici''.Which is in the National Gallery in Washington. Botticlli's painting gradually became bare and essential. He abandon decorative motifs details deriving from Flemish painting and sumptuous still lifes, and instead used vibrant colours and mediaeval composition in which perspective is intentionally ignored or overturned.Sandro Botticelli became Poor and Sick and died in Florence in 1510 at the age 65
This is one of his famous paintng called The Birth of Venus ,1485. i can tell it his something to do with Greek or mythology. Which is Cool. seeing the description he was aiming differently from a classical poet Hesiod instead of making Venus rise from the Sea he made he come up shore. I like this it's complicated due to the fact i don't really know whats going on even after reading about it. But i like the Art of it
